We sell products divided into three categories: X-treme Scooters, X-treme Scooter OEM (Original Equipment Manufactured) Parts, and our own Generic Parts for all scooters at a significant savings. Scooters can be purchased on the X-treme Scooter Models sales page, X-treme Scooter OEM parts listings can be found on the individual OEM parts pages as each model is listed on theX-TREME MODEL PARTS PAGE INDEX, and Generic Scooter parts listings can be found on our own parts pages such as Batteries, Belts, Electrical, Miscellaneous, Motors, Tires and Wheels, Sale Page, and more specific pages found by simply adding the item name to www.scootersupport.com/itemname.htm. X-treme Scooters are shipped from Iowa or Washington using Green Max Distributors. X-treme Scooter Model OEM Parts are shipped primarily from the central warehouse in Iowa or Washington to USA customers only. Note that if we receive an international order for OEM small parts from a foreign customer we will try to order and receive the parts in our warehouse and reship them abroad for the International Shipping fee AND a 25% handling fee billed separately. Any further expenses associated with the order will be passed on to the International Customer. And our Generic Scooter Parts for all scooters are shipped from our own warehouse as quality tested and inspected parts costing much less than OEM parts typically which we can deliver much faster. Generic parts and X-treme Scooters in inventory can be checked on our Availability Page where we list available X-treme Scooter models and color choices with stock levels, plus we list our own delayed to inventory generic parts so you can check before you place your order. [NOTE: OEM parts are not listed on the X-treme OEM parts listings pages since they are not in our own warehouse. OEM Parts on X-treme model parts pages and X-treme Scooter Model orders cannot normally be shipped internationally unless otherwise noted or the part is listed on one of our generic parts pages! Each foreign OEM part order received is taken on a case by case basis and if accepted will require a 25% handling fee, plus the international shipping, billed separately and paid prior to proceding.] In the event a part is ordered that is currently OUT OF STOCK as shown on the AVAILABILITY PAGE with no current ETA the customer can request a full refund within 45 days from the date of order and simply replace the order when the part is available. After 45 days Paypal will charge a nonrefundable fee and the refund will be slightly less as refunded through Paypal to a valid email address. After 90 days if the part is still unavailable or becomes no longer obtainable then a customer In House store credit, less the previously deducted Paypal Fee, can be used by the customer to help purchase any other available product(s) listed for sale. No refunds are issued after 90 days. Sometimes a part may still eventually return to stock and in that case automatically be shipped to fill the back order. .

Note that when you click Proceed to Checkout the next page will allow your payment to be via either a paypal account or a credit/debit card if you press CHECK OUT button instead of CHECK OUT WITH PAYPAL. If you use Paypal you go on to enter your password, but if you press CHECK OUT your payment can be with a credit/debit card on the next page where it says DON'T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT? You will then have the ability on the next page to enter all your information. Using a credit or debit card does not create a paypal account, but paypal processes the payment. You must enter the billing address used for the credit/debit card as the shipping address or an error will occur. A processing and handling shipping adjustment fee of 12% is added to USA orders to adjust shipping and handling of each order up to $190, and 3.5% above orders of $190 or more. This measure was instituted due to the drastic increase of shipping fees since 2005. Paypal still may refer to this as a shipping fee, but most of the shipping is paid in the price of the part as it appears in the shopping cart. After processing is completed you will see a completion of order page and the ability to quickly create a registered paypal account, if you wish, by providing a password linked to your email address. Having a paypal account allows you to see your transaction history and details of the order at www.paypal.com. Note: Paypal may slightly change these methods of placing an order from time to time, but the following instructions will help you navigate the system to sucessfully place your order. Telephone numbers help us speed up processing, assist in getting final details, and may be needed in rural areas to help in delivery. You may also want to clarify address information or order information, however if you use the Shopping Cart we must ship to your paypal confirmed address which is the same as your credit card billing address. If you have trouble with a confirmed address through our shopping cart system or want to have an order shipped to another address then see below.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FEES

  • If you are an INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER then foreign shipping fees must be charged appropriately and billed separately for your location as explained here. Customs and Import Duties and Fees may also be required before the package receipt in the destination country and these additional charges are the responsibility of the customer. {GOOGLE ALL LANGUAGE TRANSLATOR} [NOTE: Many larger OEM Parts on X-treme model parts pages and X-treme Scooter Model orders cannot normally be shipped internationally. If we receive an international order for OEM small parts from a foreign customer we will try to order and receive the parts in our warehouse and reship them abroad for the International Shipping fee AND a 25% handling fee billed separately. Any further expenses associated with the order will be passed on to the International Customer.] Any shipping stated as included in the price of an item in the shopping cart is utilized for USA contiguous states shipping, less handling and processing, and for International Orders this addition to the price per item in the shopping cart is applied as the processing and handling fee for the item and order in most cases except large orders where shipping and handling adds up to a sufficient amount. Normal USPS shipping fees are established by the US Postal System and have been changing often. But currently, for example only, the shipping fees charged to the UK, Australia, and Europe start at approximatelly $23.95 for a small flat rate box (8 5/8" x 5 3/8" x 1 5/8". Maximum weight 4 pounds), $59.95 for a medium box (13 5/8" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/8" or 11" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Maximum weight 20 pounds), and $77.95 for a large box(12" x 12" x 5 1/2". Maximum weight 20 pounds). There is no tracking or insurance available for the Small Flat Rate Box. ALL USPS SHIPPING FEES ARE NOW BILLED SEPARATELY FROM YOUR ORDER IN A SEPARATE PAYMENT REQUEST. You can evaluate the shipping cost for yourself by visiting the United States Post Office site where you can calculate shipping to any destination from the United States by various means including flat rate boxes and Priority or Express Mail options. We only ship using flat rate boxes. Here are a few of the options for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes to CANADA and MEXICO, for example (fees may vary): Small Flat Rate Box - $19.95 (no tracking or insurance), Medium Flat Rate Box - $40.95, and Large Flat Rate Box - $53.95. You will be billed separately for the shipping fee which is not refundable if not paid using the shopping cart buttons below. All orders shipped internationally have a risk of not being properly delivered or taking longer for delivery than normal and this risk is assumed totally by the customer at the time of order. Foreign orders normally cannot be tracked and insurance may not pay for loss or fully for loss. If a package is lost all that can be done is to place the order again, if you choose to do so, at additional cost and wait for any possible action provided by government agencies who follow up on claims of Medium and Large flat rate shipments (Small Flat Rate Priority Mail Boxes and 1st Class Mail, if undelivered, are considered lost with no option for recovery or refund - ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK or pay for medium or large flat rate boxes to help insure delivery). There is no guaranty by us that you will receive a refund or the ordered parts once they are assumed lost. However to date very few packages have failed to be delivered using Priority Mail for delivery, and some of those orders have returned due to inability to make delivery. Those can be reshipped once the address is corrected and the shipping fee has been billed and collected again. Any refunds do not include original expended shipping.

    Signature Service prevents carriers from leaving deliveries on the porch unattended or exposed to the weather but requires a signature for delivery. Claims for loss or damage are processed in a timely fashion by the issuers and we will notify you of the progress as we know ourselves, but we in no way maintain responsibility for the claim or the length of time that is necessary for resolution of the claim. Payments made for these services are not refundable under any circumstances and these services are only available at the time of the order for parts or scooters. If more than one package is required for delivery and only one service is paid for the entire order then the more expensive item will receive the service application unless the customer pays for additional services.


SHIP TO ANOTHER ADDRESS

  • If you have trouble with a confirmed address through our shopping cart system or want to send an order to another address other than your confirmed address then you can use your credit card in the following ways:

    1. Place your order using Paypal and your normal billing address, BUT in the message to Seller or Merchant part of the check out repeat your credit card number, expiration, security 3 or 4 digit number, and billing zip code for the credit card. Also put the address where you want the order shipped. We will change the shipping address to the address you provide in this message area. You must repeat the credit card information in case we have to use a different payment processor!

    2. If during regular business hours (mid afternoon is the best time, Mon - Fri) then call us with your credit card information. We can ship your order to any USA destination by processing using a different credit card processor. You must also email us the Shopping Cart information including each item and price (now showing USA Shipping included) and the handling calculated by entering your zip code. Alternately you can email the order from the Shopping Cart and email the credit card information in several emails to keep the details separate and more secure from falling into the wrong hands. Once all the emails are received you will receive a confirmation and reply email verifying the order and verification of the credit charge.

  • We now use another service to process mail and telephone and text orders where customers prefer not to use the Paypal Shopping cart system or prefer to call or text us with their credit card information. Customers can also have orders shipped to another address as long as all the following required information is provided:

    CVV NUMBER ON THE BACK (this is the last three digits on the signature line, or four digits on AMEX)

    EMAIL the information about the items you are ordering by description, item number and details including price each with included USA shipping, that can all be obtained by first using the shopping cart to gather your order, entering your zip code to adjust the order's shipping and handling, and the total at the bottom just before checking out. Note that this page will include items with shipping included per item but not the final handling inclusion Paypal adds when you enter your zip code.

    Finally in the email you must provide your personal information for shipping purposes:

    A copy of the credit card receipt will be emailed. Orders cannot be refunded for credit card Telephone Orders.

    THE BEST TIME TO PLACE A TELEPHONE ORDER IS MID AFTERNOON, MONDAY - FRIDAY. If your call is answered by the messaging system then you can wait for the beep and state, I WISH TO PLACE A TELEPHONE ORDER. Hang up and if your phone number is recorded as a personal number, not a business number, then you will receive a call back at which time your order will be recorded. You can go ahead and email the order items and information requested above. Remember, telphone and text orders (281) 317-7307) are for USA CUSTOMERS for USA DELIVERY. Telephone orders are subject to verbal errors and misunderstandings in communicating information to us and you must assume ALL liability and expense involved in correcting any errors made by placing an order via telephone. Email (sales@scootersupport.com) or text ((281) 317-7307) the information except the credit card number unless broken into several messages, and we will call you back for credit card information you did not include.


MAIL A MONEY ORDER CHECK

  • ONE ADVANTAGE TO USING MAIL ORDER IS YOU DO NOT PAY UP TO 10% PROCESSING AND HANDLING FOR USA ORDERS AND WE CAN SHIP YOUR ORDER TO ANY ADDRESS IN THE CONTIGUOUS USA. Print the shopping cart page containing your scooter or parts (Except OEM Parts) after you have added all the items you wish to purchase. These items already have normal shipping included for the United States only including Alaska and Hawaii (except for scooters). For other destinations you can email for the additional shipping amount. If you are in Washington state, add 6.75% Sales Tax on the order total for the parts or scooter purchase. Get a Money Order type check from a USA bank or bank branch for the total amount of the Shopping Cart payable exactly on the pay line to FOWLER. Money Orders and Cashiers Checks received with anything other than FOWLER on the pay line will be voided. We can't cash them. You can still reclaim your money using the receipt or stub provided at the time of purchase where you made your purchase. If you have lost this (and why would you since this is the main advantage of using money orders and cashier's checks) you can send a self addressed stamped envelop and request the return of the check you sent! Money orders still must process for 7 days through the bank before clearing and fund transfer. In the rare event that some item you have ordered becomes unavailable then your money order or cashier's check will be returned at your request, or you can reclaim your money as though it is a lost check where you made your purchase.

  • (2) GET A MONEY ORDER/CASHIER'S CHECK FROM A BANK AND MAKE SURE IT IS MADE PAYABLE EXACTLY TO 'FOWLER' ON THE PAY LINE. DO NOT PRINT ANYTHING ELSE ON THE PAY LINE OR WE CANNOT CASH CHECKS OTHERWISE MADE PAYABLE. IT WILL BE VOIDED AND YOU CAN RECLAIM YOUR MONEY USING THE CHECK STUB/RECEIPT.

WHY A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS IS IMPORTANT

  • A vailid email address is important for most all merchants. Like us, most merchants on the internet rely on other processing agencies like Paypal to receive and distribute your submitted funds. When you use the shopping cart system for most merchants it is processed through Paypal, or Ebay who owns Paypal. The transaction is recorded with a transaction number and provided to the supplier of the part, scooter, or service you have specified. Paypal, for us, is the entity who holds and distributes the funds, and sometimes makes refunds when orders are made in error or we cannot supply what is asked of us.

    THIS IS WHY A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS IS SO IMPORTANT. If you just make something up and then forget or have no access to that email address then refunds can never reach you. If you make a purchase using a credit card and the order cannot be processed for shipment then a refund is submitted back to Paypal according to the email address you provided. You can opt to use those funds for another internet purchase, or to send money to another email address, and even have the money sent to a bank account when you are registered and verified with that email address. The cash will be available, simply and easily to your needs or back to your bank. The alternative is to file a credit card charge back, a long and deliberate process, that will eventually get a credit back to your credit card. It is so much easier to just use a valid email address and allow the funds to be used or refunded to your checking account.

    Another reason for using a valid email address is tracking and contact information. We send periodic tracking and report information to your email address to let you know the status of your order. Most customers want to know when an order has been shipped and when to expect it. Email is the only, fastest way to provide this information from us since most orders deliver within 1 to 4 days of receipt, depending on where you are in the USA and what items you may be ordering (for example, scooters in high demand ship in the order they are received and we may ship the same or next business day usually).

    Email addresses are easily obtained from Yahoo.com, or for a short period of time from hotmail.com (hotmail addresses expire if unused - they are furnished by Microsoft). You can quickly receive an email address to receive contact and if necessary refunds, credits, etc. that you can reclaim.

    NOTE: We do not keep any record of your email other than to satisfy your orders. We do not ever resell your email address to another agency or for reuse in contacting you. Your email addres is always considered very private information and will never be divulged to anyone for any use. It is very necessary for us to make refunds through Paypal, provide partial refunds or credits, or be able to give you necessary information about your order. Use a valid email address for ordering, for collection of refunds, and if you wish please register at the time of your order with Paypal so you will already have a password and an account that you can access. Paypal, owned by Ebay, is very sensitive to all information you provide. You can record bank account information for cash transfers, credit cards to send funds to your account, and much more, safely and securely. We have been doing this for over seven years without any problem. You can depend on Paypal for merchant activity.   • SHIPPING AND HANDLING



    Shipping is added to the price of each item added to the Shopping Cart. The item price listed on our sales pages will now appear with shipping included. Later a handling fee will be included that including processing and other fees necessary to complete your order. The handling fee is higher for foreign orders to help compensate for the increased shipping fee charged to deliver your order. If this fee is still inadequate then a Money Request will be sent by email for payment of the balance.



    WASHINGTON STATE TAX



    Washington residents are charged 6% state tax for X-treme scooter deliveries. The warehouse in Iowa must collect state tax for deliveries to residents in Iowa and Washington.
